EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES 

After completing this activity, the learner will:

·      Understand the differences between BILAG-2004 and Easy-BILAG

·      Identify why Easy-BILAG may be a more efficient tool in the clinic

·      Feel confident to start using Easy-BILAG in clinical practice

 TARGET AUDIENCE 

This activity is designed for qualified rheumatologists of all levels of seniority, and other healthcare professionals involved in treating patients with SLE.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW 

A new tool, Easy-BILAG, has been developed for simplified recording of SLE disease activity using BILAG-2004. In this activity, Professor Ed Vital discusses Easy-BILAG with international experts who review the development of the tool, discuss the tool itself and work through a practical example. 

ACCREDITATION

The Understanding Easy-BILAG: A New Tool for Simplified Recording of SLE Disease Activity Using BILAG-2004, made available on https://www.lupus-forum.com/educational-videos and organized by CESAS Medical, is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists.

Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Only those e-learning materials that are displayed on the UEMS-EACCME website have formally been accredited.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
